Dear parents,

The week beginning Monday 23rd April is International Book Week

To celebrate we are having a 'Dress Up' day on the Monday as detailed in the Newsletter.
We are also running an Extreme Reading Competition - the details are below:

Oakley Extreme Reading Challenge

Where is the most extreme place you have ever read
a book? Whether it is up a tree, on top of a mountain or
stood on your head, we want your photos! Your challenge is to bring in a picture of you reading somewhere extreme by Tuesday 24th April 2018. We are doing this as part of the school’s celebration of World Book Week.

We will run a competition for the most extreme places reading has taken place. A display will also be made from the photos. To help us with the display please bring in a 4’ x 6’ or a 5’ x 7’ size photo.

Obviously, we encourage you to keep safe (we wouldn’t recommend reading in the jaws of a crocodile!) but we are really looking forward to seeing who in school has such a passion for reading that they have to do it anywhere and everywhere! Thank you for participating and have fun! J

Thank-you for your interest and help!

Miss Ali
